COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A woman was arrested for identity theft and additional felony charges after deputies said he gave law enforcement false identification.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) said deputies were helping the “Keep Colorado Springs Beautiful” organization to restore private property near B Street that had been damaged by homeless encampments.

They said notices were posted at the camps weeks in advance.

During the process, deputies said they were told that one of the women at the site was giving fake identification to law enforcement and appeared in court using a family member’s identity.

Deputies said the woman, identified as 49-year-old Stephanie Bleam, was found at the encampment and arrested on September 10.
