People hit by Sunday’s storms aren’t just dealing with property damage. Many say they’re stuck in a revolving door of solicitors showing up at their homes offering to make repairs.

“I’ve had to be rude today because yesterday I was nice, I entertained it,” said Lisa McElyea.

McElyea said she has been solicited by roofers at least 30 times since the storm. Her neighbors have numerous business cards stuck in their doors, and some homeowners told NBC 5 they’ve stopped answering the door.

“It’s frustrating and it makes me angry, and today I decided to go ahead and use my rights and tell them to get off my property or I’m going to call the police,” McElyea said.
