PORTLAND, Oregon — A murder sus pect was mistakenly released from jail after a judge ordered that he be held in custody.
Judge Bryan Francesconi had denied the release of Ty Anthony Sage, charged with second-degree murder and first-degree robbery, after a hearing on Sept. 17, according to Multnomah County court documents. Sage had been ordered held without bail, but had been accidentally released on Monday, The Oregonian first reported.
