PORTLAND, Oregon — A murder sus pect was mistakenly released from jail after a judge ordered that he be held in custody.

Judge Bryan Francesconi had denied the release of Ty Anthony Sage, charged with second-degree murder and first-degree robbery, after a hearing on Sept. 17, according to Multnomah County court documents. Sage had been ordered held without bail, but had been accidentally released on Monday, The Oregonian first reported.

On Dec. 4, 2021, Gresham Police responded to the Columbia Trails Apartment Complex after reports of shots being fired, with one person suffering from gunshot wounds, according to court documents.
