KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said nearly 20 people were taken into custody on Tuesday after a drug bust.

According to KCSO, investigators began looking into a home in the 3900 block of MacMillan Road after several citizen complaints, traffic stops, overdose responses and a documented history of criminal activity at the home.

On Tuesday, KCSO’s narcotics unit executed a search warrant and found large amounts of methamphetamine and fentanyl in addition to baggies, packing materials and digital scales.

In total, 19 people were arrested on charges that include the following:

Possession of methamphetamine

Possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell

Maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of drug use

Sex offender registration violations (pending)
