It all happened in less than a minute, a distance of some 800 kilometres home plate to home plate.

At Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, the home team scored a dramatic, 3-2 walkout win against the truly awful Chicago White Sox, just a handful of deep breaths before the final verdict was rendered at the Rogers Centre.
