The chase took a thrilling turn when the driver broke through a barrier as a bridge was being raised. An officer was heard saying they had the driver at the bridge before witnessing the unexpected jump. The car landed without significant damage and continued speeding away.

The abandoned vehicle was found later, but the driver remains at large.
