The start of the 2025 NHL season is nearly upon us but first, we have to get through training camps and preseason games.

Throughout the next several weeks a number of players with New Jersey ties will get the opportunity to sharpen their skills and crack an opening night professional roster. For some on this list, it could be their first time earning a spot in an NHL lineup.
