US President Donald Trump met Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Wednesday on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meetings in New York.
According to a statement by Sharif’s office, he met Trump at the conclusion of the Arab-Islamic Summit, where they both “engaged in an informal conversation".
At the venue, Trump also held a multilateral meeting on Gaza with a select group of leaders of Muslim countries , including Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, the UAE and Jordan.
