NORFOLK, Va. — The Old Dominion Monarchs are feeling good—and with good reason. ODU is coming off a statement 45-26 victory over Virginia Tech, the program’s first-ever road win against a Power Four opponent.

Last week’s bye offered a chance to regroup, but the celebration was short-lived. The Monarchs insist they’re staying locked in as they prepare to host Liberty this Saturday at S.B. Ballard Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m., with ODU looking to keep its momentum rolling against another tough in-state foe.

"As much as we want to go 1-0, there's still a lot of different things that we could do better," said head coach Ricky Rahne. "There's still guys that got to know that maybe we didn't practice our best going into Indiana and then we practiced well each of the last two weeks."
