PINE BLUFF, Ark. — The Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD) is currently investigating a deadly shooting that happened on Monday night.

According to reports, at about 9:05 p.m. on September 23, officers with the PBPD were called to the area of 615 South Missouri Street with reports of a shooting.

Once officers arrived, they found an unresponsive male who was suffering from several gunshot wounds. The victim was then pronounced dead while still at the scene by the Jefferson County deputy coroner.

No information has been released at this time regarding the victim's identity or any possible suspects involved in the homicide.
