MOSES LAKE, Wash. – A 9-year-old girl from Moses Lake is recovering after falling from a second-story apartment window on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred around 9 a.m. at an apartment complex along Valley Road Northeast, just outside the city limits.

Grant County deputies reported that an adult was supervising the child at the time of the fall. The girl was initially taken to Samaritan Healthcare before being airlifted to Providence Sacred Heart in Spokane.

Her current condition has not been released. Deputies have stated there is no sign of criminal or malicious intent. However, Child Protective Services has been notified as a precaution.
