The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has started a new initiative, with announcements warning passengers against shooting reels, dance videos, or any other social media content inside metro premises. The officials said that the new measure, implemented on September 14, is for all the lines of the metro. They will make sure the rule is well in place and being followed everywhere by the end of this week.

The bilingual announcements, both in Hindi and English, join the existing reminders that prohibit eating or sitting on the floor inside coaches. The new message leaves no room for ambiguity, “Filming reels, dance videos or any other such activities are strictly prohibited."
