JEFFERSON CITY, Mo - Grant funding is available for mid-Missouri agencies, businesses, and organizations in need of resources to further promote roadway safety.

The Central Coalition for Roadway Safety's community grants are open for submission from now through October 15th. Grant requests must address at least one of the emphasis areas identified in the Show-Me Zero strategic highway safety plan. These include occupant protection, distracted driving, speeding and aggressive driving, and impaired driving.

Funding is limited, with a $5,000 maximum award amount and other additional limitations placed on certain types of projects. For more information or to apply for the grants visit modot.org/form/cr-funding-application
