G ilbert resident Rob Guderian has been living peacefully at his Stonebridge Lakes residence for over 25 years – before trouble came knocking in the form of a new development along his back wall.

Today, the Gilbert man and seven neighbors living along the boundary line are locked in a property-line dispute with developer Woodside Homes, which wants to build 10 single-family homes on 3.63 acres on the northwest corner of Lindsay and Elliot roads.

To understand the current issue with that particular property line, Guderian points to documents filed with the town in 1987, when the Stonebridge Lakes subdivision was built.

Originally, the land where Stonebridge Lakes community stands was farmland owned by a single owner, Robert Knight.
