Blue Badge holders face racking up £3,000 thanks to penalty charge notices being administered while on the school run . One motorist has written into the Guardian newspaper's consumer affairs section demanding help.
They typed: " I’ve racked up £3,000 in PCNs on the school run despite my blue badge." They said: " I have been sent 19 penalty charge notices (PCNs) by Newham council for driving into a restricted healthy school streets zone despite the fact I hold a blue badge access permit to drop and collect my children at school.
