A 54-year-old man with multiple convictions for threatening public officials was charged Tuesday with threatening Orange County Superior Court Commissioner Cynthia Nichols.
Michael Lawrence Lhevan did not enter a plea at his arraignment Tuesday to the charge of threatening a public official with a prior conviction. The arraignment was rescheduled for Wednesday in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana.
Lhevan pleaded guilty to two cases of threatening prosecutors in April 2015, according to court records.
He was accused of threatening a prosecutor on April 1, 2015, and then while out on bail in that case, was accused of threatening a public official April 24 of that year. He was sentenced to three years in prison in the case, which included Nichols as one of the prosecutors. She now hears case
