Several criminal cases have previously been registered against Swami Chaitanyanand Saraswati, alias Parth Sarathy, who has been accused of sexually harassing multiple students in Delhi, police revealed on Wednesday.

According to the officials, the accused, Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, is a director of a reputed Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management in Delhi’s upscale Vasant Kunj locality.

He is facing a police case for allegedly targeting students enrolled in post-graduate management diploma courses under the economically weaker sections (EWS) category with scholarships.

In 2009, a case of fraud and molestation was registered in Delhi’s Defence Colony. In 2016, a woman filed a molestation case in Vasant Kunj and an FIR was registered at Vasant Kunj North
