FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Some patches of fog and mist are expected this morning, with the chance for a few stray showers throughout the day.

Patchy fog continues to develop in some areas this morning, but thanks to a bit of wind and lingering cloud cover it isn’t expected to be as widespread and dense for all of 21Country as yesterday morning. Nonetheless, some patches of fog could still become fairly dense and school delays will need to be monitored, especially in towns to the north of Allen County that had a good amount of rain yesterday. Rain from yesterday has helped to soak the soil, contributing to our ground moisture which in turn is helping the fog form and thicken. Any lingering fog past sunrise will mix out quickly, allowing for much better visibility by 9-10 am.
