I-75 is shut down in Micanopy after a dump truck slammed into an overpass, FHP says.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday on the Highway 320 overpass along I-75 southbound.

Troopers have all the lanes on the southbound side of I-75 shut down as they work to repair the bridge.

Drivers traveling south along I-75 from Alachua County into Micanopy need to exit at CR-234 and take Highway 441 as a detour.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office says drivers should expect delays on Highway 441 this morning as a result of that detour.

According to troopers, the driver of the dump truck who hit the overpass has its bed in the raised position, causing it to strike the overpass.

So far, no injuries have been reported.
