SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Good morning! Storms have moved through areas around and north of I-30 through the overnight hours. The main threats have been damaging winds and large hail, but the severe chances decrease after sunrise this morning. Hail and tornado threats decrease, but gusty winds will remain possible, and heavy rainfall will become the primary threat.
Also after sunrise, we will see more of the mid-sections of the region dealing with locally heavy rainfall, providing us with an isolated flash flooding threat for the daytime hours. Please watch out for and be mindful of flooded roadways!
The storms should either dissipate or exit the region by the late afternoon or early evening. The weather should feel much cooler around the region, yet still a bit humid.
