BRAINERD -- It’s a new position and a new look for Sophia White this fall.

The Brainerd Warriors junior was moved to libero for the volleyball team and she’s making the most of the extra playing time.

While her position hasn’t changed a ton, her responsibilities have increased, as has her playing time.

“It’s been very fun,” White said. “I really like being able to play left back while Preslee Glynn is at middle back. I think we work really great that way and it’s been exciting to see that come together.

“Not much has changed with how I play. It’s basically the same thing, but I get to wear a different color jersey. I am able to play the whole time. I’m able to sub with two people, so I don’t have to sit out for a rotation and can play the whole time.”
