FARGO — A foreclosure action seeks the sale of a south Fargo property that involves a stalled convenience store project.

The civil suit, which was filed Aug. 20, in Cass County District, is tied to a construction site at 901 38th St. S., in Fargo, that appears to have seen little or no activity since late 2024 or early 2025.

The project's initial building permit, which has expired, notes that the project involves a "Stop & Go SKY STORE."

City officials said in June that a new building permit will be necessary before work can resume at the work site.

In August, the city issued a maintenance action separate from the building permit issue telling the developer to address issues that included a toppled fence and general lack of maintenance at the building site, including overgrown weeds.
