LTC not trying

London Transit website posted the newest construction disruption information: Oxford and Second streets intersection closing, with major affect on Route 17. Long detours will be made. The published schedule will be irrelevant. LTC’s advice is to check its website for arrival times at stops.

Why not just remake the schedule? Figure out how much time the detours will add to a bus’s travel time. Add that to the run time for the affected district.

Rewrite the schedule to coincide with reality.

Ask drivers for their suggestions.

Help prevent LTC clients from waiting in tears at a stop because they are going to be late for work or an appointment.

Reduce verbal abuse to drivers from upset clients.

Figure it out.
