Concordia University has serious problems.

If the 2025/2026 Concordia Student Union handbook is any indication — the university appears to have been taken over by anti-Israel, anti-western students who have made it their goal to put the final stake in the university’s casket by disrupting its operations and destroying what’s left of its reputation.

This week, I spoke with Anastasia Zorchinsky, a Concordia Student Union (CSU) undergraduate council member who recently posted a video to Instagram about the new handbook which she says in the video is not what a student handbook should look like in 2025, calling it “super-Pro Hamas and anti-western.”
