Firearms were pointed at occupants of a home on Government Road in Bruce Mines last Friday, Ontario Provincial Police say.

The victims were also assaulted before two suspects fled the mid-morning incident.

A vehicle linked to the assault was found on Syrette Lake Road in Garden River First Nation about an hour later. Two suspects were arrested.

Myron Jones, 39, and Gregory Belleau, 48, both of Garden River, were charged with robbery with a weapon, commit robbery to steal a firearm, break and enter a dwelling house, disguise with intent, theft under $5,000, mischief under $5,000, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order, unauthorized possession of a firearm, fail to comply with probation order and two counts each
