Three people were shot during an active shooter incident at an ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations facility in Northwest Dallas on Wednesday morning, federal law enforcement sources said.

Police units were dispatched to the facility, which is located along the I-35 frontage road, at approximately 7 a.m.

An ICE spokesperson confirmed that two of the three people shot in the facility are dead. The third individual was transported to an area hospital.

No ICE officers were hurt during the shooting, officials said. The three people shot are ICE detainees.
