Police say officers shot naked man as he came at them with a knife at Beacon Hill restaurant break

WCVB reports BPD officers arriving to investigate a break-in at 97 Mt. Vernon St. on Beacon Hill shortly before 6 a.m. found a naked man in the alley coming at them with a knife - and that when tasers didn't stop him, they opened fire, sending him to the hospital.

Stanley Staco reports the man was shot in the shoulder.

The Globe reports the man had emerged from the building's restaurant - 1928 Beacon Hill - where he had been smashing things.
