Police are reminding everyone to secure their outbuildings and ensure surveillance equipment is working after a riding lawn mower was stolen from a detached garage in Oliphant.

A green E170 John Deere riding lawn mower and 54-inch tractor bagger were stolen from a detached garage on Grouse Drive. These items were last seen Sept. 22. Police responded Sept. 23 to a report of their theft.

Police are asking anyone with information or who may have observed suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident to contact Grey Bruce OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
