A 16-year-old driver from Arthur, Ont. has been charged after allegedly launching their vehicle into Lake Huron.
According to Huron County OPP, just before midnight on Sept. 14, police received a report of a vehicle that had entered Lake Huron at the west end of Amberley Road in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh.

When police arrived, they found a four-door sedan that had rolled before landing on its roof in the water about 10 metres from shore and the two occupants that had exited the vehicle uninjured, OPP said in a news release.
The teenaged driver, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is now facing a single count of dangerous operation. They have been released from custody with an upcoming court date, the release said.
