A Scots restaurateur and chef’s restaurant was officially named one of Scotland’s elite seven with a premium award at a London ceremony. ‌

Haar St Andrews has been officially recognised as one of Scotland’s top dining destinations after being awarded four AA rosettes at a ceremony in London. The award, which took place on Tuesday, September 23, places the restaurant among just seven in Scotland to hold such an accolade, with only four others boasting four rosettes and two carrying five. ‌

Haar is the only four-rosette restaurant in Fife and the only venue in Scotland to receive one of the highest AA honours this year. For chef and restaurateur Dean Banks, the award is the fulfilment of a long-held dream. ‌
