Safety precautions are in place at an Oakville high school on Wednesday morning as officers carry out an investigation.

According to Halton police, St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School is in a hold-and-secure situation while an investigation is being conducted.

No injuries associated to this investigation.

The Halton force notified the public of the incident around 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 24 in an online post.

No injuries have been reported, added police.

There were no details provided about the investigation.
