CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Virginia State Police are responding to a crash on Interstate 64 west at the Deep Creek exit (Exit 296) in Chesapeake on Wednesday morning.
VSP initially reported the accident only involved one vehicle, but now say a Ford F-150 had lost control and struck the rear of another F-150 that had been parked on the right shoulder, causing the first F-150 to overturn.
One of the drivers was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The ramp was temporarily closed, but VSP said it has since reopened to traffic. The accident remains under investigation.
