Boston pays $150,000 to two Black men falsely accused in the Carol Stuart case

WBZ reports on the $100,000 payment to Willie Bennett, accused of killing the pregnant woman in 1989 because her husband told police a Black guy did it, when, in fact, he did it, and the $50,000 payment to Alan Swanson, whom police tossed in jail for three weeks before deciding to focus on Bennett. Charles Stuart's brother ultimately turned him in; Stuart jumped off the Tobin before he could be arrested.
