What to know: Toronto jewelry designer Jenny Bird is hitting the road for a cross-Canada tour that kicked off in Burlington, Ont., on Sept. 18.

The designer behind the eponymous fashion and fine jewelry brand has partnered with seven Canadian retailers along the way in order to connect “face to face” with the community that has helped her build the line since starting it in 2010. Bird first launched with a line of handbags in 2008.

“I’ve never been more proud and more grateful to be Canadian,” Bird says. “We have built the brand here for 15 years and we have incredible retail partners across the country.”
