Shillong, Sept 24: The Khasi Students Union (KSU) Eastern Central Division today submitted a memorandum to Health Minister Wailadmiki Shylla, requesting the provision of an ambulance service for the Diengpasoh Primary Health Centre (PHC).

The union said the absence of such a facility has caused immense hardship to the residents, particularly during medical emergencies where timely intervention can mean the difference between life and death.
