MAXTON — An arrest has been made in relation to a 2022 homicide investigation.
On Wednesday, Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Detectives charged Kobe Mobley, 21, of Maxton in connection to the death of Jock Clark, 30, of Maxton.
On June 3, 2022, Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 200 block of Revels Rpad in Maxton in reference to an individual shot. Clark was found deceased at the scene upon the arrival of the deputies.
Mobley is charged with first-degree murder and discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle. Mobley was placed in custody of the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
Mobley is currently serving a 20- to 25-year sentence in North Carolina Department of Adult Correction in connection to an unrelated murder.
