NORFOLK, Va. — A teenager is in the hospital after being hit by a car on Wednesday morning in Norfolk, authorities say.
The accident happened near the intersection of South Main Street and East Berkley Avenue around 8:16 a.m. According to Norfolk police, officers arrived to find a tow truck had hit the child, who had been riding on a scooter.
The 14-year-old boy was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries to his leg.
The accident remains under investigation.
