An Edinburgh Ryanair flight was forced to divert on Tuesday afternoon with passengers landing '120 miles from their destination'.
Ryanair flight FR3646 left the Scottish capital after 1.30pm on September 23 and was set to land in Milan around 5pm.
However due to the diversion, passengers were forced to land at Bologna airport and landed around 6.30pm.
The circumstances for the diversion have not been confirmed, however holidaymakers were diverted around 120 miles from their destination.

At the start of the year, Aer Lingus flight EI3250 left Dublin at 6.36am on January 11 and was set to land in Edinburgh at 7.50am. However, the aircraft made an unexpected diversion
