MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Glenville woman accused of striking a Saratoga Springs resident with her car will now face an additional charge following the death of the pedestrian. Morgan Lange, 33, was charged with second-degree vehicular manslaughter, per State Police.
Emergency responders arriving to a parking lot on Hemphill Place in Malta after receiving reports of crash located Joshua Soden pinned under Lange’s car around 10:15 p.m. on September 8. Soden was removed from beneath the vehicle and was taken to Saratoga Hospital with severe injuries, including traumatic brain damage. He was later transferred to Albany Medical Center, where he was declared dead on September 20, according to State Police.
