Ash & Elm Cider Co. bubbled up into national recognition this week, as the Indianapolis-based business was named to USA Today's 10Best cideries list .

Nominations for USA TODAY 10Best Reachers' Choice Awards come from a panel of industry experts; 10Best editors then narrow down those nominations and present them to the public during a four-week voting period.

On a list that featured cider makers spanning from Arizona to Upstate New York, Ash & Elm came in fifth, ahead of Chicago's ERIS Brewery and Cider House. The list credited Ash & Elm for its variety of flavors and the food served at its restaurant-bars in Indianapolis and Carmel.
