• Statue of limitations: A statue depicting convicted felon and President Donald Trump holding hands with his late friend, the accused child sex abuser Jeffrey Epstein, was installed on the National Mall Tuesday—and then promptly removed by U.S. Park Police by Wednesday morning. The anonymous group that installed the statue had a permit from the National Park Service that allowed it to remain on the Mall until Sept. 28. USPP said the statue was removed “due to it not being in compliance with the permit.” The statue, titled “Best Friends Forever,” was the latest from a group of artists that have been trolling Trump with similar pieces since he returned to office.
