MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several thefts at a Summerville self-storage facility.
Deputies recovered “a significant amount of stolen property” from the Prime Storage located at the 2200 block of North Main Street that is believed to belong to storage unit customers.
Deputies are working to identify the victims to return property to its rightful owners.
“We want to make sure every victim has the opportunity to recover their belongings,” Sheriff Duane Lewis said. “By checking your unit and reporting any missing property, you can help our investigators in holding those responsible accountable.”
