DALLAS — Two people — including the shooter — are dead and two others were wounded after gunfire erupted Wednesday morning at the Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement office, police officials have confirmed.

More than 40 police units responded about 6:40 a.m. to the scene in the 8100 block of North Stemmons Freeway in the Stemmons Corridor, according to a Dallas police call log.

Police said two people were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, though their conditions were not immediately known. One person died at the scene.
