UPDATE: Two people are dead, including the suspect, after a shooting at an ICE facility in Dallas on Wednesday morning, according to police.

The Dallas Police Department (DPD) said two people have been taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds.

DPD said one victim died at the scene and the suspect is deceased.

No names have been released.

Secretary Kristi Noem said the shooter died by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

At this time, preliminary information shows it could have been a sniper.

Police are expected to release more information as it becomes available.
