EastEnders fans are convinced that a former icon is set to return in a significant Stacey Slater plot twist.

Stacey (portrayed by Lacey Turner) has been a mainstay on the BBC One soap since 2004, and it's safe to say she's been involved in some major plots. From her struggle with bipolar disorder and numerous affairs to murder, Stacey's tenure in Walford has been anything but dull.

Particularly over the past year, and notably in February, she was left heartbroken when her ex-partner Martin Fowler (played by James Bye) tragically passed away following the Queen Vic explosion.
