Leh, Sept 24: The administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh on Wednesday announced the cancellation of the final day and closing ceremony of the ongoing Ladakh Festival 2025, citing “unavoidable circumstances” in the wake of recent unrest in the region.

The administration in a statement said it “deeply regrets the inconvenience caused to all stakeholders, including local artists, cultural troupes, tourists, and the people of Ladakh, who were eagerly looking forward to the event”.

It has appealed to the public for their cooperation and understanding during this time and expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and participation in the festival.
