BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Olympic gold medalist Oksana Baiul has put her house up for sale in Louisiana.
Baiul wrote on social media, "Thank you Shreveport!!! house is for sale moving back to Las Vegas … i love u all I am sorry it didn’t work out."
According to a Zillow listing, the Georgian Italianate mansion built in 1925 at 2525 Fairfield Ave., selling for $1,195,000, is 6,000 square feet and has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The listing said the majority of the home was restored in the last three years.
The mansion sits on a 1.33-acre lot and "exudes the grandeur of crossing from the Gilded Age to New Age" with its seven marble fireplaces, original chandeliers and sconces and floating spiral staircase.
