The Erie SeaWolves faced off against the Rumble Ponies in Game 2 of the Eastern League Championship Series on Tuesday night at UPMC Park.
The SeaWolves are aiming to achieve a feat that hasn't been accomplished in the league since the 1990s. UPMC Park was packed with fans, contributing to heavy traffic in downtown Erie and boosting local businesses.
AJ Hanson, General Manager at Plymouth, noted the increased business activity, saying, "Almost every game, whether it's the Seawolves or the Otters, we definitely have a nice rush ahead of time, even more so afterwards. It's gonna be all hands on deck."
Donna and Greg Penco, longtime SeaWolves fans, expressed their tradition of attending games and visiting Plymouth Tavern, stating, "We've been coming here for years. When we go to a baseball
