In the face of a slowing visitation, Las Vegas’ tourism industry is trying something new.

For five days, resorts and attractions from the Las Vegas Strip to downtown and the periphery will offer over 100 deals to entice customers back to the city. That includes some hotel room prices getting cut in half, $100 dining credits and reduced ticket prices for shows.

The destination-wide push launched this morning is the largest, if not the first, collaborative effort the city’s ever seen, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority President Steve Hill said.

Hill said his team came up with the idea, part of the larger “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” campaign kicked off earlier this month, in mid-August. It’s dubbed the “Fabulous Escape” sale , and ends Friday.
