Emma Watson could have used a bit of magic.
The Harry Potter alum spoke publicly about her recent six-month driving ban , saying that she was actually shocked it got the reaction it did.
"I was getting phone calls. Like, it's on the BBC. It’s on international, worldwide news,” Emma shared on the Jay Shetty Podcast Sept. 24. “I was like, 'My shame, it is everywhere.’”
The 35-year-old had her U.K. driver’s license revoked for six months in July after she was caught going eight miles over a 30-mph speed limit. She previously had nine points—or traffic violations—on her license, and in addition to the suspension had to pay $1,400 in fines.
